XMR KuCoin因“必要钱包维护”暂时关闭门罗币（XMR）充提服务
2026年10月10日，KuCoin在其官方公告栏发布题为《KuCoin已暂时关闭门罗币（XMR）的充值和提现服务》的通知，宣布暂停门罗币的充值与提现功能。交易所方面仅以“进行必要的钱包维护”为由解释此次暂停，并未披露具体的技术问题或预计恢复的时间表。
交易服务未受影响，仅限链上资金流动受限
在暂停期间，KuCoin上的门罗币现货及保证金交易业务照常运行，用户仍可正常买卖该资产。受影响的仅限于将代币转入或转出平台的操作，即涉及实际门罗币网络交互的充值到账和提现出金流程。
隐私币维护的技术复杂性
相较于典型的基于账户的区块链，门罗币的架构使得此类维护工作更为复杂。门罗币采用环签名、隐蔽地址和机密交易金额等技术来隐藏发送方、接收方及交易价值。这意味着，交易所用于追踪存款的钱包软件无法直接读取公共账本余额，而必须从加密输出中重构可花费的余额。因此，任何对钱包软件的更新，或因错过区块及链重组导致的重新同步，都可能需要暂时下线充值和提现处理功能，直到节点完全同步并验证完毕。
行业背景与合规考量
Compared to transparent assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum, exchanges are more frequently suspending services related to privacy coins like Monero. This is partly due to the difficulty of auditing privacy-protective designs in real-time, and also because some jurisdictions require exchanges to strengthen controls over assets that are difficult to monitor using standard trading methods. Although KuCoin did not mention any regulatory factors in this case, describing it simply as a routine maintenance issue, this incident once again highlights that centralized exchanges often provide less transparent support for Monero, with more frequent interruptions compared to traditional digital assets.
Further arrangements have not been announced yet.
KuCoin stated that they will update their announcement once the Monero deposit and withdrawal services are restored. Users are advised to follow the official announcements instead of relying on third-party reports. During this suspension period, the exchange did not indicate whether users’ funds were at risk, nor did they offer any form of compensation or fee reduction. This is consistent with their past practices when dealing with other types of asset-related maintenance issues.
