此外,Coinme 已在 FinCEN(美国财政部金融犯罪执法局)注册为货币服务企业。

Polygon revealed the deal to acquire Coinme and wallet provider Sequence as early as January this year. The total value of these transactions exceeded $250 million, but the exact price paid for Coinme was not disclosed separately. Coinme was founded in 2014, and it developed channels for buying and selling digital assets through retail cash points, debit cards, and bank connections. Before this transaction, Coinme already had over 1 million app users and was connected to approximately 5,000 retail stores in the United States. These services were integrated into the “Open Money Stack,” a system that combines features such as customer deposits, stable coin exchange, digital wallets, transaction routing, and blockchain settlement. Companies can use a single integration interface to receive funds, convert them into digital dollars, and arrange for local currency payments. This arrangement connects regulated entry and exit points with token transfers, addressing the limitations of pure blockchain payment systems. This wide coverage is particularly important when payers and recipients rely on different payment methods or banking systems. The four payment companies that joined Polygon’s stable coin payment system include Tazapay. The first four customers of Tazapay serve over 1,000 clients in more than 30 countries worldwide. Tazapay’s stable coin service operates through a registered Canadian entity. The company is using wallet and conversion infrastructure to connect stable coins with local payment networks.Meanwhile, Mesh is integrating the function of injecting fiat funds into its network, which includes over 300 wallets, exchanges, and financial companies. This helps to create an additional channel for the transfer of funds. Toku is integrating wallet and payment functions into salary transactions in more than 100 countries around the world, allowing users to convert stablecoin earnings into local currencies. Kira, on the other hand, has expanded its stablecoin options by providing access in US dollars, and now supports US bank accounts, ACH transfers, Fedwire, FedNow, and international transfers.

Although the “Open Fund Stack” has already begun operating, independent reports indicate that its unified integration is still in the testing phase, targeting a select group of customers. The transaction volumes, revenues, and fees associated with these four integrations have not been publicly disclosed.
