Arbitrum

Fast Feed、DAO

Fast Feed is a paid data streaming service that allows subscribers to obtain sorted sequencer data in real time during block construction rather than waiting for the block to complete. Its main service targets include traders, market makers, aggregators and other delay-sensitive on-chain applications.

PGA generates revenue through priority fees paid by all users, while Fast Feed captures willingness to pay from institutional participants who value speed. Together, the two provide the Arbitrum DAO with two independent sources of revenue related to transaction sequencing and data availability.

Fast Feed subscription revenue is distributed as follows: 97% goes to the Arbitrum DAO treasury and 3% goes to the Arbitrum Developers Guild.

Community-Driven Transformation

This transformation is community-driven, not just a unilateral decision by Offchain Labs. The transition from Timeboost to the PGA went through a full constitutional AIP process and received overwhelming community support through an on-chain vote in June 2026.

The Arbitrum One is the first Arbitrum chain to integrate PGA and Fast Feed, but dedicated chains built using the Arbitrum platform can also implement these functions.

For decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols built on Arbitrum, implementing 125 ms bidding rounds in 250 ms blocks may improve the execution quality of automated market makers (AMMs), lending protocols, and any applications where transaction sequencing directly affects user outcomes.
