Binance will remove 12 cryptocurrencies from the Alpha platform, and deposit restrictions will affect MTP, BDXN, TALE and other tokens.
Binance will remove twelve cryptocurrencies from the Alpha platform in the last few hours of September 4. Affected tokens include MTP, BDXN, TALE, BOS, MAIGA, TIMI, U, SERAPH, RVV, AIAV, PENGUIN and SN3. According to the announcement, Binance will first stop accepting all recharges involving these removed tokens. However, once Binance removes these tokens from Alpha, holders can still sell or withdraw their assets. As a result, users will continue to retain access to their positions, as this update only restricts incoming deposits.
Holders have withdrawal and sale options
Users who want to transfer tokens can complete withdrawal operations through the Binance Alpha interface. They need to go to the "Assets" page, select "Alpha", click "Withdraw", and specify the cryptocurrency to transfer. In addition, users should ensure that the wallet they choose supports the token and the blockchain network in which it is located. Using an unsupported wallet or network may delay transactions and make it more difficult to recover transferred assets.
Binance Alpha will officially remove the following tokens on September 4, 2026 at 8:30 (UTC time):
- $MTP
- $BDXN
- $TALE
- $BOS
- $MAIGA
- $TIMI
- $U (Union)
- $SERAPH
- $RVV
- $AIAV
- $PENGUIN
- #SN3
It is worth noting that after these tokens are removed, users can still withdraw or sell on Binance Alpha. For users who prefer to sell directly rather than transfer, simply select the affected token in Alpha, select the "Instant Sell" option and press "Sell" to complete the transaction. However, due to limited liquidity, cryptocurrencies with small trading volumes may affect their selling prices due to weak demand.
Removal of Alpha exposure may affect token visibility and market liquidity
Binance has not announced the immediate closure of withdrawal or sale services for removed cryptocurrencies. This arrangement provides holders with flexibility when deciding to transfer or sell assets. Despite this, users still need to pay close attention to relevant notices, as Binance may introduce new adjustment measures for these tokens in the future.
The removal may reduce the visibility of projects that rely on Binance Alpha to reach more crypto traders. In addition, lower exposure may also affect the trading volume, liquidity and investor interest of the removed assets. Affected project teams may provide guidance on supported wallets, alternative exchanges, or broader initiatives.
This update narrows the range of cryptocurrency options available on Binance Alpha, while preserving the basic channels for holders to exit these twelve assets. The move aims to optimize platform resources, but also reminds users to pay attention to official developments in a timely manner to properly manage personal positions.
