The NEAR Intentions platform allows users to initiate cross-chain redemption requests that are executed by market makers. The cumulative total transaction volume of the platform has reached US$29.3 billion, of which the processing volume in the most recent week reached US$842 million. According to reports, the total locked value (TVL) within NEAR Intention once exceeded $207 million, although real-time DefiLlama data showed subsequent figures at approximately $189 million, highlighting the volatility of locked asset valuations.
NEAR is transcending its positioning as a Layer 1 public chain. Through its cooperation with Hyperliquid, NEAR has introduced a confidential perpetual contract feature to connect the cross-chain routing of Hyperliquid and NEAR intentions. At the same time, on-chain TVL reached US$180 million (a 57% increase in 30 days), and transaction volume reached US$5.48 billion.
Bitwise research analyst Camran Khosravi described Near and Zcash as a "complementary relationship," explaining that Near provides ZEC holders with private cross-chain infrastructure and liquidity access. Khosravi also pointed out that when previously deposited ZECs appreciate, NEAR Intentions 'TVL data will grow even without new capital inflows.
During the last 24-hour measurement period, the privacy-conscious Zcash wallet ZODL became the third largest recommendation source by transaction volume on NEAR Intention, facilitating approximately $3.8 million in transactions involving 458 independent transactions. Among the largest single transactions recorded on the platform was a ZEC exchange worth approximately US$613,000.
