Infinex integrates NEAR Chain Signatures and Intentions to achieve seamless access to cross-chain assets
The Infinex platform has officially integrated NEAR Chain Signatures and NEAR Intentions, greatly expanding its cross-chain asset access capabilities. Now, users can easily use assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Ripple (XRP) without manually managing multiple separate bridging tools and wallets.
This integration allows Infinex to leverage NEAR's "chain abstraction" infrastructure. This infrastructure allows applications to interact with multiple assets on the blockchain through a single interface. According to NEAR officials, Chain Signatures technology relies on a multi-party computing network protected by NEAR verifiers to authorize transactions on external chains. This means that users can access assets that are not originally part of the same chain without exposing the underlying execution details, greatly simplifying the operating process.
BTC, DOGE and XRP can flow more widely across chains
According to the NEAR protocol's own documentation, NEAR Intention currently connects 31 blockchains and more than 100 assets, and cross-chain settlement times usually only take about 30 seconds.
The system routes and processes user requests through a "Solvers" competition mechanism. Unlike traditional methods, users no longer need to manually select bridging tools, source chains, and execution paths. They only need to specify the results they expect to achieve, and the protocol will automatically handle the routing process.
NEAR's bridging document lists multiple specific cases, such as bridging BTC to the TON network, XRP to the Arbitrum network, and DOGE to the Base network. These cases demonstrate how assets from non-EVM networks can enter other ecosystems through a single routing layer. Therefore, this integration of Infinex is not just about adding a new bridge channel, but more importantly, allowing assets such as BTC, DOGE, and XRP to be directly used in a wider range of on-chain applications.
NEAR positions itself as the core of cross-chain infrastructure
From a larger perspective, NEAR is striving to transform from a purely Layer 1 public chain to execution level infrastructure. Its Intentions network currently records more than $30 billion in total transactions on 35 chains. The protocol defines itself as a common liquidity layer for wallets, decentralized financial (DeFi) applications, and AI agents.
This model also conforms to the current trend of shifting to cross-chain infrastructure, aiming to reduce users 'reliance on traditional bridging workflows and promote blockchain interoperability to a new stage.
