X Finance Bull: Why bullish confidence in XRP stems from its underlying utility rather than short-term price fluctuations
X Finance Bull explained the reasons for maintaining a bullish attitude towards XRP, emphasizing that this confidence is mainly based on the underlying practicality of XRP, rather than short-term price fluctuations. In a post posted on the X (formerly Twitter) platform, he said that his optimistic expectations do not rely on the performance of the "single K-line" but stem from a deep understanding of the core issues XRP aims to solve.
X Finance Bull pointed out that the potential of XRP is reflected in three key functions: accelerating value transfers, releasing locked liquidity, and connecting different forms of currencies. He added that the issues addressed by these features are becoming increasingly serious. His comments shifted the focus from daily market fluctuations to building payment infrastructure. Rather than measuring the prospects of XRP through a single K-line pattern, X Finance Bull focuses more on the macro financial challenges faced by cross-border fund transfers.
Accelerate value transfer
X Finance Bull first pointed out the need to accelerate the speed of value transfer. Transactions on XRP Ledger can be settled in seconds, allowing value to flow faster without the lengthy processes of traditional correspondent bank systems. This is one of the main use cases associated with XRP and XRP Ledger, especially when financial institutions need to transfer funds between different currencies or payment networks.
Solving liquidity lock-in issues
The second issue identified by X Finance Bull concerns liquidity. Traditional cross-border payment arrangements often require agencies to reserve funds in different jurisdictions to complete payments when needed. Such arrangements can result in capital being occupied for long periods of time without allowing institutions to deploy it elsewhere. XRP-based liquidity models have been proposed as a solution to reduce some of the pre-capital requirements by using XRP as a bridge between currencies. As a result, X Finance Bull connects the potential of XRP to the efficiency of global payment flows, not just its market price.
Connecting different forms of money
The third part of his argument involves connecting different forms of money. With the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and potential central bank digital currencies, the financial system is evolving across multiple payment networks and digital assets. This trend may increase the need for systems that can transfer value between otherwise independent networks. X Finance Bull believes that as the financial system deepens digitally connected, XRP's role in promoting such transfers remains crucial.
An X user challenged this view in the comment area, pointing out that organizations are not required to use XRP when using Ripple-related payment infrastructure. The user also pointed out that RippleNet can run without relying on XRPL, and RLUSD runs on both Ethereum and XRPL. However, X Finance Bull's original post focused on the broader issues that XRP was trying to solve. His position is that the investment logic of XRP should not be determined by a single price K-line, but should be determined by whether faster settlement speeds, more efficient liquidity and greater interoperability are becoming increasingly important to the global financial system.
