HumidiFi announced a suspension of trading due to cybersecurity incidents.

HumidiFi is one of the most active decentralized exchanges in the Solana ecosystem and has suspended trading on its platform. Previously, the exchange disclosed that its network suffered a security incident. The exchange emphasized that the losses were limited to its own funds and did not affect any user or third-party assets.

What information did HumidiFi disclose?

HumidiFi revealed on its official X account that part of its internal network had been affected and said the team was still investigating. The exchange told followers that the impact of the attack was limited to its own funds and did not touch any users or external assets. Trading on the platform has been suspended, but apart from that, the company has not disclosed more details about the incident. They also did not formally characterize the incident as a hacking attack, nor did they announce the specific amount of the loss.

According to DefiLlama data, HumidiFi processed approximately US$213.79 million in transactions in the past 24 hours, with transaction volume reaching approximately US$2.468 billion in 30 days. At the same time, trading volume of the exchange's native token WET surged nearly 192% in 24 hours to approximately $5.49 million, but the price fell 8.66% to $0.07173. The token is currently down approximately 78% from its historical high of $0.336 on December 10, 2025.

What other security incidents have occurred before HumidiFi?

Prior to the attack, HumidiFi organized a token sale on Jupiter, but the sale quickly fell through when a malicious actor used an automated wallet to purchase almost all the saleable tokens. Bubblemaps reported that of the approximately 1530 wallets involved in sales, at least 1100 had exactly the same funding source and timing pattern. HumidiFi completely canceled the sale and wrote on its X account: "Snipers don't get away with it." However, according to relevant reports, the event still attracted US$1.39 million in USDC before it was cancelled. After the cancellation, the team promised to reprepare the tokens for legal buyers and conduct prorated airdrops. Another report pointed out that in the second quarter of 2026, investigations into digital asset projects became increasingly frequent, and the quarter ended with the most reported incidents on record. According to DefiLlama data, as of June 22, there were approximately 83 independent security incidents, resulting in losses of approximately US$775 million.
