As of 12:00 midnight South Korean Standard Time on August 18, Bitcoin (BTC) was quoted at 90.3 million won on the Upbit Exchange in South Korea, up 1.27% from the previous trading day. On global exchanges, the price of BTC is 90.64 million won, there is a negative price difference of 340,000 won between the two, and the premium for reverse kimchi is-0.38%.
Mainstream altcoin Ethereum (ETH) recorded a reverse kimchi premium of-0.41%. Other major altcoins are also generally lower than global prices, including Solana (SOL) at-0.35%, XRP (XRP) at-0.38%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at-0.39%, and Sui (SUI) at-0.31%. Currently, the reverse kimchi premium for most major altcoins ranges from-0.3% to-0.4%.
