The cryptocurrency market was mixed on August 30, and Bitcoin returned to above US$78000.

According to CoinMarketCap data, the cryptocurrency market was divided on August 30. Bitcoin (BTC) rebounded to above $78000, while Pump.fun (PUMP) became the best-performing asset among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation.


Cryptocurrency price dynamics on August 30

At 11 am on August 30, South Korean Standard Time, according to CoinMarketCap data, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.54% from the previous day to US$78,054.52; Ethereum (ETH) rose 0.73% to US$2,456.38. Most mainstream cryptocurrencies fluctuate within a narrow range.

XRP edged up 0.80% to US$1.39, and Solana (SOL) rose 1.34% to US$105.38. Avalanche (AVAX) rose 0.13% to $7.28, while Tron (TRX) fell 0.34% to $0.3399.

Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 0.13% to US$0.08496. Worldcoin (WLD) rose 0.28% to $0.3782, and World Liberty Financial (WLFI) fell slightly 0.22% to $0.05754.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, Pump.fun (PUMP) gained the most in 24 hours, rising 8.71%. Official Trump (TRUMP) fell the most, down 4.51%.

In terms of other altcoins, QUAI fell 3.19% to US$0.009054, and ALEO rose slightly 0.14% to US$0.01721.

CoinMarketCap has also added "Trump Digital Gold (GOLD)" as a newly launched cryptocurrency in the past 24 hours.
