Major cryptocurrencies are consolidating before key resistance levels, and the direction of breakthrough or correction remains to be clarified.

After experiencing a strong rally, major cryptocurrencies are currently in a shock consolidation range. The technical structure shows that if key support levels are broken below, the market may face a correction; conversely, if a successful breakthrough is made, it is expected to start a new upward trend. The latest analysis points out that Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and Monero's predecessor, Zcash (ZEC), all stand above important moving averages, but also face different resistance areas that will determine their next trend.

XRP: Trend confirmation remains challenging after the August breakout

XRP is currently trading at approximately US$1.398, firmly above the US$1.33 - 1.35 support range, which coincides with the long-term moving average on the daily chart. Although a sharp volatility breakthrough in August changed its market structure and assets are trying to stabilize, a clear upward continuation pattern has not yet emerged.

Throughout September, buying entered near this key support level many times, prompting prices to rebound quickly after briefly falling below the range. The primary resistance is between $1.42 and $1.45, where many recent rallies have been blocked. Analysts believe that a decisive (decisive) close above $1.45 will serve as a trigger for an attack into the $1.50 - 1.55 range. If XRP can break through this area, market focus will shift to the August high of $1.70.

In terms of momentum indicators, the Relative Strength Index (RSI), which had previously fallen sharply due to overbought, has now fallen to about 56, indicating that the market environment has become neutral after a surge in August. If XRP falls below US$1.33, analysts expect the next potential support to be US$1.28; if sellers dominate further, prices may delve deeper into the US$1.20 - 1.25 range.

Overall, XRP retained most of the gains from the breakout, but to achieve a credible bullish extension to higher resistance, the daily close must stand firm above $1.45.

Currency Support Level Current Price Key Resistance Post-breakthrough goals XRP $1.33–$1.35 $1.398 $1.45 $1.50–$1.55

Zcash: Leader in highly volatile trading

Zcash, a privacy-oriented cryptocurrency developed by Electric Coin Company, continues to show strong momentum after soaring from less than $500 in August to a high of about $1,280 in September. Although trading remains volatile, ZEC has recently traded close to $1,147, retaining most of its recent gains.

ZEC is well above all key moving averages-the shortest cycle moving average is $950, and other moving averages track $800, 680 and 550 respectively. This distance not only highlights its strong upward trend, but also hints at the risk of a sharp correction. There have been repeated large selling in the $1,200 - 1,280 range, indicating that this is a hotly contested price area.

Immediate resistance is at the $1,160 - 1,200 window. Recovering $1,200 will bring back the focus of the $1,250 - 1,280 range, and continued breakthroughs here could open a new phase above $1,300. On the downside, support is noted at $1,050-$1,080. If it falls, ZEC may test the psychological level of $1,000, while the rising $950 moving average will provide additional support.

Despite the volatility, Zcash maintained substantial (significant) earnings, but $1,050 support was critical to maintaining the bullish trend and avoiding a slide towards $1,000.

Noun explanation: Zcash is a privacy-oriented cryptocurrency launched in 2016. It uses advanced encryption technologies such as zk-SNARKs to block transactions and hide senders, recipients and transaction amounts, thereby providing stronger user privacy protection than most public blockchains.
