两名Robinhood工程师因涉嫌利用机密加密货币上市信息进行交易而面临联邦欺诈指控。检方表示，柴赫福（Hefu Chai）和项怀松（Huaisong Xiang）在雇主宣布新代币上线前，利用Hyperliquid平台提前布局。据称，两人在该计划中每人获利超过5万美元，该行为发生于2025年至2026年期间。

被指使用私人上市数据

根据美国司法部的声明，36岁的柴赫福和30岁的项怀松涉嫌访问了计划在Robinhood Crypto上币的代币相关信息。他们在公开公告发布之前，购买了与这些资产挂钩的永续合约，试图从上市消息公布后的价格波动中获利。此类公告可能会吸引买家，但并不保证盈利。

检方以违反《商品交易所法》一项罪名和一项电汇欺诈罪起诉这两名Robinhood工程师。各自的法定最高刑罚分别为10年和20年监禁。需要注意的是，上述刑期并非最终判决，所有被告在被证明有罪之前均推定为无罪。

永续合约交易引发衍生品关注

针对这两名Robinhood工程师的案件核心在于衍生品交易，而非直接购买底层加密货币。永续合约提供价格敞口且无到期日，杠杆头寸可能面临清算风险。美国检察官杰米·麦克唐纳（Jamie McDonald）表示，挪用公司内部信息进行个人衍生品交易违反了法律。他强调，通过不同的金融工具进行交易并不能免除潜在的法律责任。

此次指控与此前涉及Coinbase机密上市信息的联邦案件类似。2022年，检方曾就一起涉及提前获知该交易所即将上线代币信息的案件提起诉讼。Robinhood工程师据称通过在另一个平台上建立期货头寸，利用了这一信息优势。相关报告明确指出他们是Robinhood的员工，并未指控Hyperliquid员工参与此事。
