In addition, Bitcoin rallied strongly on Friday, breaking through the $80,000 mark for the first time in two weeks. Bulls continued to pressure, pushing Bitcoin soaring to nearly $82,000 on Saturday. However, affected by the latest situation in the Middle East, prices encountered resistance here and were refused to break through, and are currently only slightly above US$80,000.
According to CMC data, Bitcoin's market value has fallen back to US$1.61 trillion, but its market dominance over altcoins is close to 59%.
Altcoin is bleeding, AVAX bucking the trend
Ethereum encountered resistance at US$2,630. After falling 2.6% in a single day, it is currently stable below US$2,600. BNB struggled to maintain the $750 level, while XRP fell back below $1.40. SOL fell below the $110 mark;HYPE pulled back slightly after hitting a record high and is now at $91.
Major privacy currencies showed a more significant decline. ZEC fell 8.2% to $1,443 and XMR plunged 8.6% to $523. Tokens such as UNI, RAIN, LINK, NEAR, AAVE and CC are also generally losing money.
In contrast, Avalanche (AVAX) rose more than 11% in a single day, standing above $9.6. ENA, PEPE and M also achieved considerable gains.
The total market value of cryptocurrencies has evaporated by approximately US$40 billion per day. According to CMC data, the total market value has dropped to US$2.740 trillion.
