BTC Bitcoin returns to the US$81,000 mark, and its Binance reserves hit a new high in 2026.
With the strengthening of buying power, Bitcoin successfully recovered the US$81,000 mark, consolidating the market recovery momentum. At the same time, Binance's bitcoin reserves have climbed to a record high in 2026.
The increase in exchange balances means that potential selling pressure supply is rising, but trading activity on whale accounts has remained stable, which has somewhat alleviated market concerns about possible coordinated concentrated escapes by holders. To achieve a sustainable rise above US$81,000, the market needs strong spot demand to absorb new inflows of bitcoin, thereby preventing Binance's large deposits from further limiting the upward momentum of the market.
The increase in exchange reserves raises concerns
Although buying support has driven Bitcoin's rebound, the growing amount of Binance reserves may still be a challenge to the strength of the rebound. According to CryptoQuant data, as of September 19, the number of bitcoins held on Qianping Platform reached 702,900, setting a record high since 2026. This growth brings additional sources of supply closer to the market as the market attempts to continue the rebound.
