稳定币发行商Tether回应与蒙大拿州支付公司关联传闻

据称，一家银行曾指示某支付公司代为转移数亿美元资金。针对相关报道中提及的Tether及Bitfinex与该支付公司的联系，Tether表示其通过该银行账户持有的资产敞口有限。

Tether向Cointelegraph回应称，其对所谓的不当行为“毫不知情”。该公司确认其为EQIBank的客户，而美国司法部指控该银行指示了名为Capstone的支付公司进行资金的发送和接收。然而，存放在该银行的资金仅占集团总资产的0.034%。

据报道，作为投诉的一部分，美国检察官冻结了Capstone账户中约8400万美元的资金。据《金融时报》援引美国司法部官员的说法，该业务未获得许可，并代表Tether和Bitfinex向“数百名个人和实体”进行了付款。

对于此次资金冻结是否会影响其客户的问题，Tether发言人未予回应。截至周五，USDT稳定币的市值约为1840亿美元。
