SpaceX 瞄准为英伟达芯片采购提供资金的巨额债务包
According to reports, SpaceX may raise $10 billion through bank loans and $30 billion through investment-grade debt. The funds will be used to purchase large quantities of Nvidia chips in ground data centers and planned orbital computing projects. Apollo Global is reportedly leading the financing, and PIMCO has expressed interest in participating in the debt issuance.
SpaceX's borrowing scale will further expand as management delves deeper into large-scale computing infrastructure. SpaceX plans to use Nvidia architecture in its data centers and future orbital computing systems. The company also aims to reach 2 gigawatts of computing power by the end of this year.
This target represents a significant increase from the approximately 1.4 gigawatts reported at the end of the second quarter. In addition to rocket launches and Starlink services, this expansion adds another growth engine to the company. Management linked recent growth to managed computing needs and long-term service contracts.
Computing business growth supports SpaceX revenue expansion
SpaceX is increasingly focusing on its data center business, and new hosting agreements have generated recurring revenue. SpaceX named its Memphis facilities Colossus 1 and 2, which currently support a larger commercial computing business. Company leadership expects these operations to contribute more of annual recurring revenue.
SpaceX recently reached another hosting agreement and is expected to begin generating revenue in December. Management said the agreement could add approximately $1.11 billion in revenue per month after operations begin. Based on published operating rates, this equates to approximately $13 billion in recurring revenue per year.
The company currently aims to achieve approximately US$100 billion in total annual recurring revenue from all its businesses. Starlink's cash-generation capabilities and contracted computing requirements help SpaceX shoulder a heavier debt burden. However, the financing would still be a significant increase in balance sheet commitments.
Starlink approved to further expand SpaceX's growth plan
SpaceX also received approval to launch 15,000 additional satellites for its Starlink Mobile network. These satellites will support direct mobile phone connections and provide broader mobile coverage from low-Earth orbit. Regulators also approved spectrum use related to planned EchoStar assets and certain T-Mobile frequencies.
The new satellite could orbit as low as 326 kilometers from Earth to reduce network latency. SpaceX expects the system to support faster direct-connect mobile connections without the need for traditional ground infrastructure. The approval strengthens SpaceX's position relative to traditional wireless operators in the satellite-based connectivity market.
In addition to the latest Starlink expansion plan, SpaceX has also proposed a larger satellite system. These plans include up to 100,000 Starlink Gen3 satellites and 1 million Starmind satellites. Through these projects, SpaceX integrates its satellite network, computing power and infrastructure spending into a unified growth strategy.
