XRP returns to key levels, analysts say a breakout of $1.55 will open an upward path to $1.80
XRP has recovered to levels traders have been watching closely for months. Cryptocurrency YouTuber and analyst Crypto Rover (@cryptorover) has posted a chart highlighting key price thresholds. He believes that recovering the $1.55 mark will lay the foundation for prices to move towards $1.80.
Crypto Rover asked the community what price they expected the asset to reach, and the post generated a lot of interaction, with targets ranging from cautious to aggressive.
Summary of Community Views
Responses to this post covered a wide range of expectations. Many traders are focusing on the $1.55 level-a key point that Crypto Rover has repeatedly highlighted and considers it the top priority at the moment. Some people pointed out that before discussing further trends, it is necessary to ensure that US$1.55 is effectively supported. Another view is that whether it can recover US$1.55 with the cooperation of trading volume is a key factor. If it is rejected at this position, the short pressure will be maintained.
One commentator said recovering and stabilizing $1.55 supported by significant volume was a crucial first step, but prices could encounter heavy selling pressure around $1.70 near their August 22 high as they advance towards $1.80. Another trader thought there were clear signs of recovery of $1.55 and asked which price would negate the upward logic of $1.80 if a rejection signal appeared. Others said he would be satisfied as long as $1.55 could be stabilized first.
Other price targets
Prices exceeding the $1.80 target vary significantly. Some traders have set more conservative targets, such as between $1.58 and $2; others have pushed up expectations, reaching a target of $4.50, or a range of $4.80 to $5.20. A trader revealed that he had established a long position and set three take profit points.
In addition, some commentators said they would hold currency and wait until liquidity changes. More pessimistic voices believe that XRP will fall to US$1, while others set a target price of US$0.9.
Chart Technical Form Analysis
The daily chart showed XRP rebounded sharply from a low of close to $0.97. In late August, XRP rose rapidly, almost touching US$1.70 and then falling back. From September to October, a downward wedge pattern formed, with asset prices contracting between gradually decreasing highs and lows. Prices then tested the $1.23 to $1.26 support area marked green on the chart and rebounded. 0.5 The Fibonacci retracement level is at $1.2570, which is highly consistent with this support area.
Two key resistance lines (red horizontal lines) appear in the chart. The first is at $1.54, which is the threshold that Crypto Rover pointed out to trigger a rise towards $1.80; the second is at around $1.77. To achieve the target of US$1.80 in the short term, the price must break through US$1.55 with continued trading volume and clear both resistance areas at the same time.
