Crypto Super Political Action Committee Fairshake announces support for 32 current House candidates
On the eve of the U.S. mid-term elections in November, Fairshake, the Super Political Action Committee (Super PAC) in the cryptocurrency field, announced its support for 32 current House candidates. His support list was divided between Republicans and Democrats, and included 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats. The October 5 announcement gives industry-backed organizations a broad bipartisan presence in the House, although only a small portion of their planned spending has been disclosed so far.
Fairshake said it plans to invest US$1 million each for six of the candidates, resulting in an initial disclosure allocation of US$6 million. The larger list of endorsements and the committee's funding status suggest its campaign will go well beyond the initial six-seat race.
Six current House members received disclosed million-dollar commitments
Fairshake's list of House members includes a total of 32 incumbents: 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats. The committee characterized the options as bipartisan and issue-oriented.
According to Roll Call, the six candidates each receiving earmarked $1 million are Democrats Janelle Bynum, Steven Horsford and Derek Tran, and Republicans French Hill, Bill Huizenga and Bryan Steil. The total amount of these commitments reaches $6 million.
Fairshake has not disclosed the spending levels of the other 26 candidates. As a result, the disclosed figures only cover allocations to the first six candidates, with each planning the same amount, rather than evenly distributing the stated amount across the entire 32-person list.
Support for the CLARITY Act connects Republican and Democratic choices
All 32 candidates endorsed by Fairshake supported the CLARITY Act, market structure legislation for the cryptocurrency industry. The bill reportedly passed the House in July 2025, but subsequently stalled in the Senate.
Fairshake's intervention in the House focuses on incumbents who supported the measure during its passage. The committee said on its website that it selects candidates based on their positions on U.S. innovation and encryption policies, and emphasized that its election work is bipartisan and issue-oriented, rather than tied to a single party.
Undisclosed House spending coexists with a pool of $108 million
According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) data cited by Roll Call, Fairshake held approximately $108 million in cash as of the end of August 2026. Earlier, the committee announced an initial $6 million allocation for six House candidates.
According to the Associated Press, the committee's largest disclosed general election effort was a nearly $30 million campaign in Ohio against Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown. This amount is much larger than the House allocation originally disclosed.
据美联社报道,其他 26 名被认可的众议员候选人的支出水平仍未披露,这使得 600 万美元的公告仅是 Fairshake 众议院部署的部分账目记录。
