Payouts.com and Casper Association reached a partnership to jointly promote AI proxy payments (Augus

Zug, Switzerland, August 25, 2026, Chainwire

cooperated to provide AI agents with a compliant US dollar payment channel based on csprUSD stablecoins through the x402 agreement.

AI agents already play a role in practical work: research, negotiation, purchasing data, and calling paid APIs. As agents shift from recommending actions to executing transactions, Gartner predicts that by 2028, they could contribute to more than $15 trillion in business-to-business spending. However, at present, most agents are still unable to make payments on their own and still require humans to hold a credit card. The x402 protocol changed this situation, transforming the long-silent "402 Payment Required" status code in HTTP into the native payment link of the machine.

Payouts.com, a financial operating system for humans and AI agents, and Casper Association, a Swiss non-profit organization that manages the Casper Network blockchain, today announced a partnership to bring x402 agent payments into production environments. Payouts.com will support Casper Network, the first native WebAssembly Layer 1 to run x402 on the main network, and serve as a billing track for its AgentWallet and digital employee platforms.

At the core of execution is csprUSD, the native stablecoin in the Casper ecosystem, a standard clearing asset specifically designed for agents trading on Casper's x402 track: stable, programmable, and enforceable on-chain. In this way, agents use U.S. dollars when paying for API calls or datasets, rather than volatile assets. Payouts.com provides a governance control layer that manages the agent's expenditure limits, purposes and times;Casper provides settlement services denominated in csprUSD and has on-chain enforcement capabilities, designed for regulated and compliance-oriented companies.

Integration work is already in progress and will be phased out in the coming months. Specific details will be announced through the official channels of the two companies.

Leor Ceder, CEO and co-founder of Payouts.com, said:

"The next wave of payments will not come from humans clicking on the checkout button, but from AI agents that conduct transactions on their behalf. Working with Casper gives our customers a settlement track that is now in use, rather than projects on the roadmap."

Michael Steuer, President and Chief Technology Officer of Casper Association, said:

"Every era of the Internet requires a payment layer to support real business. Browsers have credit card forms and smartphones have in-app purchases. AI agents are the next batch of buyers on the Internet, and before that, they have been borrowing human identity certificates to conduct transactions. Payouts.com has built a control layer for this;Casper has built a settlement layer and used csprUSD as the currency used for actual transactions. The combination of the two constitutes a complete technical stack for agent payment."
