Dogecoin faces key technical tests: price correction touches key support areas
Dogecoin is facing a key technical test. Its price has fallen back from its recent breakthrough, putting pressure on key support areas. These areas will determine whether the bullish momentum continues or whether there will be a deeper correction.
Corrected back after breakthrough, Kijun line became the focus
The current trading price of Dogecoin is US$0.08631, the 24-hour trading volume is approximately US$1.25 billion, and the market value is approximately US$13.45 billion. Dogecoin has fallen 4.24% in the past 24 hours, raising concerns that prices may soon challenge key support areas.
On August 26, cryptocurrency analyst Trader Tardigrade analyzed the four-hour Ichimoku cloud map of Dogcoin. According to analysis, Dogecoin is experiencing a correction after its recent breakthrough, and the market focus is shifting to the Kijun line (benchmark line) of US$0.085. The Kijun line is a key element in the Ichimoku cloud map and serves as an important support or resistance level. As long as Dogecoin remains above that threshold, the correction is seen as a potential retest signal rather than a sign that the uptrend has completely stalled.
Key support and resistance levels
The important support level of US$0.083 remains valid, which is correlated with the broader Ichimoku cloud chart structure. If selling accelerates, this level will become even more important. The clouds themselves are widening and maintaining a bullish outlook, indicating that more technical support could emerge in the next few trading sessions.
Failure to hold the Kijun line and breakthrough area in the short term will weaken the bullish case and may trigger a deeper correction. The next trend of Dogecoin depends on whether it can hold the support area near US$0.085. If it stays above US$0.085, it may pave the way for the price to move towards the next resistance level of US$0.096; if it breaks through this resistance level, Dogecoin will challenge the recent swing high of around US$0.10.
The range of US$0.085 to US$0.096 is regarded as a key area for Dogecoin the short term. If the current lower boundary is firmly guarded, it indicates that there is still buyer interest in the breakthrough area; while breaking the upper boundary will help confirm the current upward trend. On the contrary, if it falls below US$0.083, it may signal a change in market sentiment and technical outlook.
Bollinger Bands, RSI and Broader Market Trends
The current price of Dogecoin is US$0.08662, slightly higher than the middle-track Bollinger Bands (US$0.07673). The upper rail of the Bollinger Band is US$0.09488 and the lower rail is US$0.05858, indicating that there is room for further price gains.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently at 65.43, indicating that bullish momentum is continuing but has not yet entered overbought territory. Its average is 62.22, supporting the overall trend. These technical indicators suggest that Dogecoin may soon test near $0.0948 on the upper track of the Bollinger Band, especially during the next few four-hour K-line.
The immediate technical target is $0.085, which coincides with the Kijun line. Maintaining prices above that threshold could open the way to $0.096 or even $0.10. However, if $0.083 is not held, the current bullish structure will be called into question.
Despite positive technical signals, Dogecoin has recently fallen 4.24%, and traders remain cautious. In order to maintain an upward trend, prices must continue to hold on to key support areas. Recent volatility suggests that confirmation of new bullish waves remains to be seen.
While technical analysis is important when analyzing these price levels, the way investors acquire and hold traditional assets is undergoing major changes. Traditional markets require complex intermediaries, and Wall Street is increasingly turning to Web3 infrastructure. Investors can now store shares of stocks, gold and silver of leading U.S. companies directly in their crypto wallets through certain platforms. By tokenizing real-world assets and instantly obtaining competitive prices, such platforms completely eliminate third-party intermediaries.
The market's reaction to technical support areas, as well as the broader trend of asset tokenization, continue to attract the attention of Dogecoin holders and keep them cautious, as price movements are highly sensitive to subsequent developments.
