The value of tokenized real-world assets on the Stellar chain soared 360% in 2026 to nearly US$4 billion.

According to data from the Dune Analytics dashboard maintained by Stellar, as of August 29, 2026, the value of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on the Stellar network has soared to US$3.996 billion, an increase of approximately 360% from US$868.8 million at the end of last year.

Major issuers dominate market concentration

Stellar's growth in the RWA space is mainly dominated by a few issuers. As of August 27, Spiko contributed $1.55 billion, becoming the network's largest single publisher. Other major contributors include Realiz ($559 million), Tradable ($548 million), Franklin Templeton ($546 million), and Ondo ($535 million). The platform's tokenized assets include U.S. Treasury bonds, private and public credit, non-U.S. government debt, and other asset classes.

The following is the RWA value by issuer as of August 2026:

Spiko: US$1.55 billion
Realiz: US$559 million
Tradable: US$548 million
Franklin Templeton: US$546 million
Ondo: US$535 million

Stellar expands in non-U.S. government debt and private credit

Stellar has made significant progress on non-U.S. government debt. According to RWA.xyz data, the Stellar Development Foundation reported that as of August 20, the network managed approximately $490 million in such assets. This asset pool includes Mexican CETES and Brazilian government bonds tokenized through Etherfuse. Etherfuse is a financial technology platform focusing on the tokenization of government securities. It is capable of issuing and managing tokenized government bonds, such as Mexican CETES and Brazilian sovereign debt, providing investors with broader access channels and improving liquidity.

Meanwhile, tokenization platform Tradable announced plans in July to bring up to US$1 billion in private credit assets to Stellar. The move aims to simplify compliance processes, investor access and asset life cycle management. Tradable has tokenized $1.7 billion in private credit through nearly 30 positions, which is expected to further enhance Stellar's market influence.

Institutional adoption and stablecoin growth

Financial institutions and tokenization service providers have deepened their cooperation with Stellar. In May, the American Depository Trusts and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a leading provider of market infrastructure in the global financial services industry, announced plans to connect its DTC tokenized assets to the Stellar network. The integration is planned to be completed in the first half of 2027, when tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds, broad index ETFs and Russell 1000 index stocks may be available on the chain.

MoneyGram, a world-renowned money transfer company, launched its MGUSD dollar stablecoin on Stellar in June. The new stablecoin allows users to hold dollar-denominated balances and transfer funds through MoneyGram's international payment infrastructure. According to Dune data, MGUSD is part of Stellar's growing stablecoin reserves, which currently amount to approximately US$438 million in reserve-proof assets.

Stellar's total RWA market value has climbed to US$3.996 billion, with most asset values concentrated in U.S. Treasuries, private and public credit, non-U.S. government debt, and other tokenized categories, highlighting the growing role of major issuers and financial institutions in the network's rapid expansion.

Despite the significant increase in RWA on the chain and increased institutional adoption, according to the latest data from CoinGecko, Stellar's native token XLM has fallen by about 11% so far this year and is currently trading at close to US$0.18.
