ADA Cardano made important breakthroughs in the field of payments: Joined the Mastercard Cryptography Partner Program
Cardano has made significant achievements in the field of payments, and the Cardano Foundation has officially joined Mastercard's "Cryptography Partner Program." The partnership connects Cardano's payment infrastructure to MasterCard's global network, which processes a total of US$9.2 trillion in transactions annually.
TheFoundation said the collaboration is part of its broader strategy to connect public blockchain infrastructure with the payment systems banks and businesses currently use for cross-border transactions.
Cardano joins hands with MasterCard, ADA plays a greater role in global payments
The Cardano Foundation announced on Platform X (formerly Twitter) that it has joined MasterCard's Crypto Partner Program, calling the move "another milestone in connecting public blockchain infrastructure to global capital flows." This cooperation highlights Cardano's broad vision of going beyond native cryptocurrency applications, seeking to occupy a more important position in the mainstream payments industry and the infrastructure that supports global fund transfers.
Through this collaboration, the Cadano Foundation was included in the program's "blockchain" track, thereby gaining direct dialogue with MasterCard and other participants developing payment and stablecoin infrastructure. The foundation noted that the initiative will allow Cadano to engage in discussions to address the industry's key challenge: transforming blockchain-based payment networks into mature infrastructure capable of supporting the scale and coverage of mainstream global payments.
