Ledger（@Ledger）表示，其10月9日发生的资金被盗事件中已确认的案例，涉及通过东南亚经销商CryptoBilis销售的硬件钱包。这家硬件钱包制造商强调，其自有系统和直接销售渠道均未受到影响。

硬件植入与损失估算
This incident has escalated from a suspected intrusion to a confirmed case of physical tampering. Industry watchdog BitBase reported that Ledger found unauthorized hardware implants in the device of an affected customer, raising concerns that some wallets may have been tampered with before delivery. Investigators are still determining whether the change led to all reported thefts.
Loss data comes from independent analysts, not official Ledger. Analyst tanuki42 estimated the loss at more than $72 million, Specter estimated it at more than $86 million, and MistTrack estimated it at nearly $90 million, according to Inside Bitcoins. Ledger does not confirm the specific U.S. dollar amount. According to BigGo Finance, citing data from blockchain analytics firm Bitquery, approximately $93.2 million in funds were transferred from 315 wallets across six networks, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Wave Field (TRX), but Ledger has not yet verified the data.
The scope of the incident has not yet been fully understood. Crypto Times reports that a researcher separately reported a case of suspected tampered equipment purchased in Europe, and the account of the dealer's acquisition remains unconfirmed.
This incident highlights the risks of purchasing hardware wallets through third-party sellers. As Ledger's own guidelines conveyed in the above-mentioned report suggest: Any equipment showing signs of abnormal tampering should be treated with caution, and if there are doubts, funds should be moved to a new mnemonic.
