XRP prices enter the proposed Cryptex portfolio with an index weight of 4.36%.
Teucrium has postponed the effective date of its proposed reverse XRP ETF to October 11.
The filing timing of short-term funds has been changed rather than approval status or market launch plans.
On September 12, the XRP price attracted attention because two fund documents disclosed in detail different forms of market exposure. The fourth S-1/A document from the Cryptex Digital Market Cap ETF lists XRP as 4.36% of its index and 4.88% of the fund's assets. In addition, the Listed Funds Trust postponed Teucrium's 2x daily reverse XRP ETF until October 11.
These are structural updates, not deal approvals or new XRP purchases. Both amendments were submitted on September 11. Overall, these documents place XRP in a multi-asset portfolio and extend the wait time for reverse product launches.
XRP prices come into focus as Cryptex adds 4.36% weight
Cryptex's latest pre-effective amendment describes a proposed Nasdaq-listed multi-asset cryptocurrency ETF. The portfolio follows the Cryptex Digital Market Cap Index, and then applies eligibility screening and re-weighting rules.
The exponential weight of XRP is 4.36%. This exceeds Solana (2.80%), Chainlink (3.15%) and Avalanche (2.13%). Based on the stated portfolio adjustments, the document gives XRP a fund weight of 4.88%.
After re-weighting, assets below 0.50% will be removed from the portfolio. That means the proposed fund may differ from the broader index it follows.
No trading start date has been set for the proposed ETF. Cryptex defines qualifying components through regulated product links, including approved ETFs, exchange-traded futures or options. The document classifies XRP as qualifying components and limits non-qualifying components to 15% of the fund's assets.
Independent data from the Charles Schwab Family of Funds shows that there are US$4.8 million in XRP ETF shares as collateral. Reported positions cover products from Grayscale, Canary and Franklin Templeton. The use of collateral does not indicate Schwab's direct investment allocation.
Teucrium delays the effective date of short-term XRP ETFs to October
The Listed Funds Trust has set October 11, 2026 as the new effective date for Teucrium 2x daily reverse XRP ETFs. The September 11 amendment explicitly postponed the earlier registration amendment.
The filing did not approve the product and did not confirm that it would begin trading on the same day. It also did not provide a new exchange listing, launch timetable or revised strategy. The filing does not provide any basis to directly link the delay to XRP price fluctuations.
The proposed fund aims to achieve daily performance of minus twice XRP before expenses and expenses. If XRP falls by 1% daily, the target is about a 2% increase. Daily compound interest can produce completely different results over longer holding periods.
Teucrium described the reverse product as a short-term trading instrument. Its prospectus warns that investors could lose all of their principal in one day. The existing long-term product XXRP tracks twice the daily movement of XRP through derivatives rather than direct token positions.
ETF Central data shows that as of September 9, XRP assets were US$151.5 million. It reported about $78 million in mid-August.
XRP prices use 100-EMA as recent reference
On September 12, XRP prices traded around US$1.36 after hitting approximately US$1.32. No documents indicate a direct price response to any fund update.
Analyst EGRAG CRYSTPTO's three-day chart identified the 100-EMA as an immediate technical reference. The analyst is closely watching the rebound area of $1.38 to $1.40. Closing above this range for three consecutive trading days will provide the confirmation signal quoted.

If XRP prices fail to hold on to the area, the analysis highlights US$0.95 to US$1.00 as a potential liquidity area. Egrag also identified $2.27 as the resistance recovery level. The chart uses $3.84 as a macro breakthrough reference.
CryptoQuant data showed that the Z-Score for the 30-day XRP trading volume in August rose to nearly 4. It then moved to a near zero position. This suggests that current trading volumes are close to the average level of their measurement, rather than extreme activity readings.
