This distinction is crucial. Calling the data a "giant whale hoarding" without additional evidence is imprecise and beyond what the chart supports. Still, the increase in large-holder activity during breakout periods is a sign that traders may continue to monitor, especially if high trading volumes persist rather than disappear after the initial rally cools.
3,647 new XRP wallets add another piece to the puzzle
Giant whales are not the only group that has become more active. Sanitation also reported the creation of 3,647 new XRP wallets, indicating significant growth in the network.

The creation of new wallets can indicate increased engagement, although a wallet does not necessarily equal a new user. Existing participants can control multiple addresses, and wallet creation alone cannot establish that every new address is actively purchasing XRP. Even with these limitations, this combination is still eye-catching: While XRP exceeded $1.60, there was an increase in large-value transactions and new wallet creation.
This gives this rally a broader on-chain background than pure price movements.
