亿万富翁风险投资人蒂姆·德雷珀（Tim Draper）表示，全球一些最大的科技公司因未在资产负债表中持有比特币，正承担着不必要的风险。

在9月21日接受播客采访时，德雷珀指出，像苹果（Apple）和Meta这样的公司如果不持有足以覆盖约一个月运营费用的比特币，是“不负责任”的行为。他认为，这两种情况都将投资者的美元置于风险之中。

Draper claimed that if a bank where the cash was kept for a publicly traded company that did not hold Bitcoin failed, board members of the company could be personally responsible for employee compensation for two to four weeks. But he did not cite any laws or cases to support this claim.

In addition, according to relevant reports, Draper suggested that individuals should keep Bitcoin equivalent to six months of living reserves.

Long-term bullish Bitcoin investor

Draper purchased nearly 30,000 bitcoins at a low price as early as 2014 when the U.S. Marshals Bureau auctioned cryptocurrencies seized from the Silk Road market. Since then, he has made bold price predictions many times.

His remarks intensified the widespread debate about corporate Bitcoin treasuries. Strategy currently holds about 846,000 bitcoins, while critics such as Peter Schiff say bitcoins are worthless. Neither Apple nor Meta disclosed any Bitcoin positions.
