The Zcash community believes the rapid rise is justified
Contrary to such skepticism, Zcash supporters attribute the recent rise to major upgrades and infrastructure improvements. It is worth noting that developers launched the NU7 upgrade on the Zcash testnet in early October, aiming to triple the speed of block generation. These developments were cited as evidence that ZEC's market gains are based on concrete progress, not just speculation.
Another support for Zcash momentum comes from the new liquidity pool established on THORChain and the huge amount of US$306 million flowing into the Grayscale ZEC Spot ETF. However, the Grayscale Fund also recorded its first significant outflow this week, withdrawing $93 million.
Zcash is currently at a critical juncture, as optimism generated by technology upgrades meets increasing regulatory scrutiny. The next few weeks may determine whether the ZEC can remain in the $1,280 to $1,330 range, or whether the recent correction deepens, thereby verifying the concerns of Bitcoin maximalists.
