Bitcoin and Ethereum Spot ETF recorded significant capital inflows
Against the background of continued strong demand, the U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF achieved net cash inflows for the third consecutive trading day. Although single-day deposits fell slightly from the previous day, cumulative inflows over the past three days have exceeded the US$1 billion mark. At the same time, the spot Ethereum ETF also ushered in positive capital flows for the second consecutive day.
Bitcoin ETF has three consecutive days
According to the latest data from SoValue, the US spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a net inflow of US$174.6 million on September 4. Previously, this type of product received an inflow of US$101.15 million on September 2, and a huge inflow of US$730.87 million on September 3. This upward trend brought total net inflows over the three days to a staggering $1 billion.

BlackRock and Fidelity dominated the latest inflows. Among them, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust Fund (IBIT) accounted for approximately 67% of the day's total inflows, reaching US$117.38 million; Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) reported an inflow of US$57.22 million, a corresponding increase of approximately 1,470 and 718 bitcoins respectively.
During this period, there were no significant changes in the net inflows or outflows of Grayscale's GBTC and Bitcoin Mini Trust, Bitwise's BITB funds, and Ark Invest and 21Shares 'ARKB products.
Cumulative data since its establishment shows that the total net inflow of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs is US$55.62 billion. Among them, IBIT led the way with cumulative net inflows of US$64.06 billion, while FBTC was US$10.33 billion. On the contrary, the cumulative net outflow of GBTC has reached US$27.65 billion.
On September 4, the average daily trading volume of the spot Bitcoin ETF reached US$2.95 billion, and the total net asset value totaled US$101.25 billion. Compared with the previous day, this figure dropped by approximately $2.09 billion.
Ethereum ETF performed strongly in two days
The U.S. spot Ethereum ETF also ended its second consecutive trading day of net cash inflows, attracting US$26.46 million on September 4. This marked a decline of 81.3% from the previous day's inflow of $141.39 million. During those two days, total net inflows reached $167.85 million.
BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust Fund (ETHA) recorded US$57.79 million, and the Ethereum Pledged ETF (ETHB) increased net inflow by US$16.44 million. The collective inflow of these two products totaled US$74.23 million, while Morgan Stanley's MSSE fund received approximately US$530,000 in capital injection.
Overall, although Bitcoin ETFs have achieved solid growth due to their strong appeal to investors, Ethereum-related products have shown more complex investor behavior, with both inflows and significant outflows. This dynamic investment environment highlights the continued interest and strategic adjustments in emerging crypto asset markets.
