Whales significantly increased their holdings after LINK's correction

After LINK's price dropped sharply by 17% from US$13.68 to US$11.29, large investors (Whales) purchased a total of 10.36 million LINK tokens worth approximately US$120 million. Analyst Ali Charts reported on the 96-hour buying activity, while prominent trader Michael van de Poppe pointed to potential entry points near above $10 and $11.80. Currently, LINK is still operating within a narrow consolidation range.

Whale holdings after a sharp correction

Ali Charts pointed out that large entities purchased approximately 10.36 million LINK during the recent decline. The increase came after LINK's price fell 17% from $13.68 to $11.29. According to analysts, the purchases may reflect the market's layout for a rebound. However, it is worth noting that LINK is still trading below its September high. Van de Poppe added that investors could consider accumulating LINK positions at current levels. He proposed two possible scenarios based on the broader market direction.

Rally blocked, LINK remains around US$11.50

LINK reached a high of about $13.50-$13.60 on September 7, and then entered bearish reversal pattern. Since then, the token has recorded lower highs and lower lows, falling below $13,$12.50 and $12 in turn. The rebound on September 11 briefly pushed LINK above $12, but sellers immediately rejected the rally, pushing prices back into the $11.50 zone. The latest data shows that the price of LINK is US$11.454. The K-line opened at $11.453, hitting a high of $11.470 and falling to a low of $11.445.

Trading volume is around 6010 LINK, and the smaller K-line shows a closer consolidation trend. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is 41.81, below its moving average of 45.02 and the neutral 50 level. The MACD indicator remains in the negative range of-0.021, and the signal line is-0.019.

Analysts identify key LINK price levels

Van de Poppe said that if the broader market declines, a buying area could form around $10. If the market avoids another meltdown, he will pay attention to LINK's breakthrough of $11.80 and set the next target range at $15. At the same time, the chart shows immediate support at US$11.40 -11.50, followed by US$11.00 -11.20. Resistance is around $11.80-$12.00, with the next key level at $12.50. A break above $12 would support a recovery rally; a break below $11.40 could expose lower price risk.
