Crypto funds attract $1.3 billion for sixth consecutive week, IBIT leads six-week winning streak

Crypto investment funds had net inflows for six consecutive weeks, attracting US$1.3 billion in a single week

Last week, crypto investment funds once again attracted approximately US$1.3 billion in inflows, extending their positive flow cycle to six consecutive weeks. During this period, cumulative inflows totaled approximately US$6.8 billion. The previous weekly inflow was approximately US$3.3 billion, bringing the four-week average inflow to approximately US$1.5 billion per week, the strongest level since November 2025. The trend marks a significant reversal in digital asset products that were under pressure earlier this year due to massive redemptions.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust continues to lead the rally

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) remains the core force of this rally. During a six-week period, IBIT absorbed approximately $3.4 billion, accounting for nearly half of the total crypto fund inflows.

IBIT remains the largest institutional-level Bitcoin investment vehicle.

As of September 11, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF holds approximately US$60.6 billion in net assets, making it the largest spot Bitcoin product currently listed in the United States. IBIT's recent concentrated capital inflows continue the pattern that emerged during the market recovery. Previously, in July, the fund led a wave of Bitcoin ETF inflows for seven consecutive trading days, when nearly US$1 billion flowed into spot Bitcoin products in the United States as Bitcoin prices rebounded from mid-year lows.

Although the current six-week capital inflow cycle is not limited to IBIT, BlackRock's product is still the largest single contributor. Its regulated structure provides direct Bitcoin price exposure to brokerage and institutional accounts without the need for investors to manage private keys or conduct on-chain custody.

Broad fund flows diverge from last week's U.S. Bitcoin ETF data

This US$1.3 billion weekly data covers a wider range of crypto investment funds and should not be confused with the daily U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF capital flows. Data showed that between September 8 and September 11, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a net redemption amount of approximately US$463 million, reversing the positive weekly series that has been present since early September. This short-term correction comes after several weeks of strong performance, including an inflow of $854 million in Bitcoin ETF in early August.

This difference reflects different statistical scopes and statistical windows rather than contradictory capital flow data. Although U.S. spot bitcoin products experienced several negative swings in trading this week, demand for broader crypto funds remained positive over a six-weekly cycle.

Four-week average inflows rise to highest level since November 2025
