FollowingTrueo moves to Ethereum to promote decentralization and ecological integration
Trueo announced that it will migrate from the Base network to the Ethereum main network, aiming to support broader decentralization, deeper ecological integration and stronger network effects. After this migration, the existing market on Base will continue to be active, and the trading, result determination and redemption functions will remain in normal operation. TRUE token holders can transfer their tokens to Ethereum, and future pledges and liquidity rewards will also be issued on this chain.
Migration background and strategic considerations
Trueo plans to officially migrate to the Ethereum main network after the Base network is launched in March 2025. The project stated that Ethereum is more in line with its long-term development strategy in terms of decentralization, breadth of integration and credibility of the oracle. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin welcomed the move, particularly emphasizing Trueo's emphasis on decentralization and its exploration of emerging application scenarios in the prediction market.
Trueo pointed out that Base provided it with a good testing environment and helped the team discover the advantages of the product. In the early stages of the project, the Gas cost of the Ethereum main network was relatively high, and some functions were still in the experimental stage. However, as the project enters a new stage of development, the team hopes Trueo will be widely adopted, license-free, largely untamperable, and deeply integrated. They believe that Ethereum has the network effects and integration capabilities needed to achieve this vision.
Oracle and Market Classification

Base 市场的后续安排

与此同时，TYD 代币在过渡期间将继续累积收益。TRUE 仍作为协议的核心代币，持有者可将其迁移至以太坊，未来的质押和流动性奖励将在以太坊网络上进行。

Trueo said that the migration is not to belittle Base's position in the competitive chain, but is based on Ethereum's network effects, global integration capabilities and high alignment with project goals. The team believes that Ethereum can connect Trueo to the liquidity crypto market and other ecosystems in the financial sector. In addition, oracle services, TYD revenue opportunities and DeFi prediction markets are seen as potential integration directions.
Vitalik Buterin pointed out that Ethereum Layer 1 will usher in a new prediction market focused on decentralization and ethical operations, and praised Trueo for exploring new uses for economic primitives. This migration window will be open indefinitely, and no deadline will be set for TRUE holders. Trueo's broader goals are to make contracts immutable, establish a credible dispute resolution mechanism, and reduce reliance on a single entity.
