Crypto enthusiast Nate calls on XRP holders and potential investors to think about a simple hypothetical question: If cryptocurrencies end up reaching extremely high prices, how much risk will people who completely avoid XRP bear?
To be clear, Nate did not assert that XRP would definitely reach $10,000. He uses this hypothetical goal to compare small investments today with the potential value that might be achieved in that scenario.
Nate analyzes the value of $156 XRP investment
Nate pointed out in a tweet that XRP is currently trading at $1.56. At this price, investors can buy 100 XRPs for US$156. He then discussed what would happen if XRP eventually reached $10,000.
Based on this price, the value of 100 XRPs will reach US$1 million. Although Nate's post mentioned a figure of $1.56 million, based on the $10,000 price target he provided and the number of 100 XRPs,$1 million is a more direct mathematical derivation.
Nate then proposed two possible outcomes:
- The first scenario: Someone refused to buy XRP because they believed that the asset could not reach such a high price. If XRP ends up reaching $10,000, this person will miss out on potential gains.
