Role of master nodes in blockchain networks
Master nodes are designed to play a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of blockchain networks. They strive to verify transactions on the network, ensure their legitimacy and prevent fraudulent activities such as Shuanghua.
The master node is also designed to facilitate instant transactions, allowing transactions to be confirmed and completed in seconds rather than minutes or hours. They strive to provide privacy to users on the network by anonymizing transactions and preventing third parties from accessing transaction data.

Setting up and running master nodes
Running master nodes is somewhat similar to cryptocurrency mining in the proof-of-work (PoW) blockchain. However, unlike mining where blocks are created and verified, the master node verifies new transaction blocks but does not submit new blocks for verification.
Running the master node does not necessarily require the operator to have expensive cryptocurrency mining equipment. Instead, a master node is a collateral-based system in which operators need to hold the required amount of cryptocurrency before running the node.
In return, these operators may receive compensation in the form of a certain percentage of shareholding.
Master node and full node
Full node is a server that holds a copy of the entire blockchain ledger. They play an important role in network operations. These nodes maintain the entire transaction history of the blockchain and are responsible for submitting new blocks for verification by other nodes.
The main difference between full nodes and master nodes is that, unlike full nodes, master nodes do not submit blocks for verification-they only verify blocks submitted by other nodes. They may be assigned special supervisory, governance and management roles.
Advantages of a master node
A master node may have multiple advantages. These include potential compensation for services provided to the network, such as transaction verification. They also aim to provide an additional layer of security to the network, helping prevent malicious actors from taking over the network or engaging in fraudulent activities.
