Eric Jackson, head of SRX Global Asset Management, said that Bitcoin may reach US$100,000 by the end of 2026. According to Jackson's analysis, if Bitcoin's recent upward breakthrough trend continues, the bullish market seems expected to remain for the rest of the year.

Macro model focuses on long-term market conditions

Jackson pointed out in an interview with Coinage that his company's Bitcoin macro model mainly tracks interest rates, global liquidity, the correlation between gold and Bitcoin, and other macroeconomic indicators. He explained that the model was designed to classify market conditions over a period of about 30 days into "bullish","mixed" or "stressed" markets, rather than predicting short-term daily price movements.

Jackson recalled that when Bitcoin was priced at around US$77,000, the model signaled market pressure on May 26, and then the price fell to about US$58,000 in the following weeks. However, he noted that the model switched back to a "mixed" market condition on August 14 and turned to a "bullish" market a few days later. During this period, the price of Bitcoin quickly climbed from about $64,000 to more than $70,000.

Global liquidity is a key variable
