SOL Remove the false and preserve the true: The real speed on the chain reveals the truth of the industry
The blockchain industry has always had the habit of using huge numbers as a publicity highlight. Projects often display impressive theoretical transaction throughput per second (TPS) in white papers, but these data are often difficult to cash in on the real-time network. Once the marketing aura is stripped and the actual performance of each chain in reality is examined, the situation will be different.
Real-world speed leaders
According to data from blockchain analytics platform @ chaininspect_app, which tracks the real-time performance of more than 50 networks, only two chains consistently top the real-world speed rankings: @Solana and @Dfinity's Internet Computer (ICP).
The really noteworthy numbers show that in the past week, the average TPS of $SOL reached 1,990, while $ICP followed closely with 1,458 pens/second. There is a huge gap between other networks. For comparison, Chainspect's real-time dashboard shows that BNB Chain ranks third with approximately 184 pens per second, while Ethereum only has approximately 17 pens per second.
The gap between the top two places and other competitors is not insignificant, but huge.
Chainspect tracks real-time TPS, block time, final certainty, and more than 40 other metrics across more than 50 blockchain networks, processing more than 2TB of data per day. This makes it one of the most reliable sources for penetrating claims data and restoring reality on the chain.
Differences between theoretical performance and real performance

在实时且持续的吞吐量方面，这两个网络所处的层级与大多数竞争对手截然不同。
数据印证了一个更广泛的观点： headline（头条式）的 TPS 声明仅是评估的起点，而非结论。网络在真实需求下的表现，才是对开发者、用户以及任何需要扩展的应用构建者真正重要的衡量标准。
