Following特朗普计划组建“人工智能部队”并任命AI事务负责人
美国总统唐纳德·特朗普表示，他计划成立一支“人工智能部队”（AI Force），并任命一位人工智能事务专员。据《新闻周刊》等媒体报道，特朗普周六在“真实社交”平台上发文称，这一新项目旨在管理快速增长的人工智能行业，同时避免增加可能阻碍创新的监管措施。
总统在帖子中写道：“为此，我正在组建‘人工智能部队’，这与我第一任期期间组建太空军的做法类似，后者取得了巨大成功。”他补充道：“为此，我将在不久的将来宣布人工智能事务专员的人选——仅限高智商人士申请！”
《纽约时报》指出，特朗普并未说明“人工智能部队”是军事指挥机构、民用机构还是政府部门，而白宫官员未对寻求澄清的邮件作出回应。英国广播公司（BBC）称，特朗普未对该计划提供进一步细节或时间表，并指出其发帖背景正是各方发出警告，提醒人们关注人工智能潜在的危险。
Coindesk reported on September 12 that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei had proposed a three-step plan to control the development rate of artificial intelligence. The plan warns that allowing artificial intelligence to develop out of control could "exceed our ability to understand and control these systems." On Sunday, Anthropic said it had selected Accenture as its first embedded evaluation agency to help adjust the pace of artificial intelligence development to advance Amodi's first plan.
OpenAI CEO Sam Ultraman and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk are positive about Amodi's proposal, but NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang opposes it, arguing that such supervision is not necessary.
