Cardano (ADA) is showing bullish signs on the technical side, and x402 integration boosts the ecological outlook
Cardano (ADA) is showing preliminary bullish technical form. As buyers continue to defend key support ranges, and new developments in the ecosystem bring further optimistic expectations to market participants, ADA's price trend has attracted much attention.
Short-term technical highlights key support areas
ADA's price trend has attracted the market's attention after completing what some analysts believe to be a five-wave rise since the August 31 low. Despite recent rejection in the resistance zone of $0.228 to $0.241, the ADA remains above the support range of $0.197 to $0.214. If buyers regain control of short-term trends, this will preserve the possibility of further price increases.
On the broader four-hour chart, the ADA initially rebounded from $0.175 to a high near $0.260 at the end of August, before pulling back to about $0.190. After that, the buyer successfully pushed the price up to around $0.230, but the ADA weakened again. At the time of the latest check, the ADA trading price was $0.20897, a moderate intraday increase.
This consolidation phase has traders engaged in debate: Is the market in a standard correction before a potential rebound, or is it embarking on a deeper pullback? Analysts believe that the $0.197 to $0.214 area is the key area to determine the next major price trend. Holding that support range will keep the bullish "1-2 wave" scenario alive and could pave the way for another round of gains as market interest increases.
Indicator Mixing and Outlook
Despite the potential bullish pattern, ADA's short-term technical indicators remain mixed. TradingView data shows that ADA is currently trading below its 20-, 50-and 100-cycle index moving averages (EMA), which usually suggests buyers have not regained control. However, ADA continues to trade above its long-term 200-cycle EMA, currently around $0.20339, which could provide a possible stabilization point if the downtrend continues.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently hovering around 45.23, neither overbought nor oversold, pointing to neutral short-term momentum. Overall, buyers and sellers seem to be evenly matched at this juncture, with no obvious dominant trend.
Derivatives activity, volume and participation
Market derivatives data showed ADA trading volume was approximately US$634.05 million, marking a decline of 3.24% according to CoinGlass. Open interest remained unchanged at $445.85 million, indicating limited change in the number of active positions or commitment among derivatives traders.
The decline in trading volume was accompanied by the stabilization of open interest, reflecting reduced market participation. Analysts pointed out that a clear breakthrough could require renewed growth in volume and trading activity.
Network progress: x402 integration
In addition to technical factors, Cardano also gained new impetus due to the integration of the x402 code base. Announced by Cardanians, a community organization focusing on the development of the Cardano ecosystem, ADA is now running as a working implementation of x402, a protocol that supports payment capabilities within the Cardano network and is deployed on the main network, pre-production network, and preview test network.
Micro Dictionary: x402 is an open source payment protocol that facilitates instant and secure digital transactions on different blockchain networks. By integrating x402, Cardano enables seamless on-chain payments and expands potential application scenarios within its ecosystem.
This development strengthens Cardano's position in the emerging payment infrastructure space and helps drive the broader trend of agency economies that leverage blockchain technology. The integration allows Cardano users to process x402 payments in multiple network environments, which advocates call another step towards a more versatile, agent-driven blockchain economy.
Key Price Level Observation
Technical observers point out that the support area of $0.197-$0.214 is a key level for ADA in the near term. Holding this range could maintain the current bullish outlook and push prices back towards the next resistance level between $0.228 and $0.241. Conversely, a break below $0.197 could pave the way for a wider correction, with the target area possibly between $0.157 and $0.188.
