LBank partner Ella pointed out that ETH had previously traded around $2,436 and then exceeded $2,620. Breaking through the psychological barrier of $2,500 changed the trading range, and the $2,560 resistance level was then easily overcome without pausing.

Ella is currently closely monitoring the US$2,620 - 2,640 area. She said if prices close above the range at the 30-minute level, then the $2,660 - 2,680 range will become the next target. However, she pointed out that $2,560 is the first line of defense buyers need to defend as the rally cools. If prices fall below this level, the $2,500 - 2,520 range will return to focus.

Technical data shows strong buying pressure

On the 4-hour chart, ETH price was US$2,627.18, and the day's trading range was US$2,611.71 - 2,630.25. Prices have recently rebounded rapidly from $2,380-$2,400 and hit the $2,630 region. ETH broke the psychological barrier of $2,500 while testing recent highs near $2,630.

The RSI indicator is at 71.31, above the overbought threshold of 70. At the same time, MACD remained bullish, with a fast line of 40.07, a slow line (signal line) of 17.34, and a histogram value of 22.73. Trading volume also increased during the breakthrough period.

Resistance is around $2,630, followed by the $2,650 - 2,700 range; support is around $2,600,$2,500 and around $2,400.
