Hyperliquid officially launched manual lending function on September 18, 2026, allowing users to lend USDC and USDT with HYPE or BTC as collateral. On the first day of launch of the feature, the size of borrowed assets exceeded US$269 million.
Data showed that HYPE prices then hit a record high of US$93.04, an increase of 17.7% in seven days.

Sandeep Nailwal, CEO of the Polygon Foundation, has announced a license-free smart contract program that aims to permanently destroy 100 million POL tokens. This amount represents approximately 1% of the initial supply of the token and is currently awaiting final approval from the Security Council.
These tokens pending destruction are stored in a collector contract that currently holds 121 million POLs from network base fees. Once officially launched, destruction operations will be carried out quarterly.
As of press time, POL was trading at approximately US$0.1043.
