Before the U.S. market opened, there were four pieces of news related to capital movements in the market, but only one of them came with a specific execution date.
Bitget restarts cash withdrawal in stages: Set a timetable for hacking incidents
According to CoinGape and crypto.news, Bitget will resume customer cash withdrawal services in stages starting on September 28. The process was previously interrupted due to security incidents. This date is the only clear mechanism in today's news: It translates an open-ended "hacking" event into a specific window of time during which frozen customer funds will flow or remain static.
There are reports of losses of approximately US$352 million in XRP and ETH, but details from the exchange's official confirmation remain limited. This means that a phased restart will be the first real-life test to verify how much compensation Bitget can actually cash in. Compared with the freezes reported by BitKE and crypto.news, these mechanisms do not appear to be performing as strongly as headline suggests.
