XRP XRP Seoul 2026 speech lineup announced: Korean mainstream bank executives will attend
The officially announced XRP Seoul 2026 speech list confirmed that representatives from Woori Bank, Kakao Bank, Kyobo Securities and Kbank will appear together with Ripple President Monica Long, RippleX Senior Vice President Markus Infanger, and other Ripple executives. The conference will be held on October 3 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul.
The agenda of this event goes far beyond the general discussion of cryptocurrencies. The conference session covered topics such as institutional adoption on XRPL, tokenized assets, institutional decentralized finance (DeFi), RLUSD cross-border payments, and institutional XRP management.
South Korea's banking industry is moving beyond the crypto experimental stage
Woori Bank will be represented by senior manager Seunghoon Han, and Kakao Bank will be represented by manager Leo Lee. In addition, Heejin Shin, executive director of teaching bonds, and Jaehyuk Choi, head of the Kbank Digital Assets Task Force, were also on the list of guest speakers.
This lineup is significant because Ripple has built a broader institutional influence in South Korea. Previously, Kbank has partnered with Ripple to develop blockchain-based overseas payment services, including testing digital asset infrastructure connected to international transfers.
At the same time, South Korea is also exploring the use of Ripple infrastructure for tokenized government bond settlement, which further expands Ripple's role from a purely payment field to a capital market infrastructure field.
