This project follows a separate development in the UK. In the UK, major banks completed real-time transactions for customers using tokenized sterling deposits. Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds Banking Group, Monzo, Nationwide, NatWest and Santander are involved in the Great British Tokenised Deposit initiative, which uses infrastructure developed by Quant. The latest tests include remortgage transactions and market payments, marking the project beyond its early simulation stages.

These real-time tokenized deposit transactions involve customers from different banks. Lloyds, NatWest and Barclays completed two re-mortgage transactions, while another test involving HSBC simulated online market payments, with funds remaining reserved until transaction conditions were met.

Quant's role in both U.S. and U.K. projects puts it at the center of both institutions 'efforts to bring commercial bank deposits into blockchain-based infrastructure.

Sibos Conference continues to focus on Quant

As the 2026 Sibos Conference opens in Miami on September 28, market attention continues to heat up. Quant and financial software company Murex plan to demonstrate programmable settlement of tokenized assets at the conference. The focus of the demonstration is on synchronizing the cash and asset sides of transactions, while allowing institutions to retain their existing trading and settlement processes.

Subsequently, the buyer needs to clear the $350 to $370 resistance before the $400 and $427 levels will be technically relevant.

A break below $249 would weaken the short-term structure after a near-vertical rally in the token. The size of the change starting below $100 means that a small percentage pullback from the top translates into a large dollar decline.

This rebound occurred against the backdrop of overall improvement in the altcoin market. Binance data cited by CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost showed that as of September 27, 87% of listed altcoin transactions were above its 200-day moving average, compared with 84% at the end of June. During the same period, the total market value of altcoins increased by more than US$371 billion. The latest TradingView data shows that the total market value of altcoins is close to US$1.17 trillion.

Still, QNT's latest performance far outperformed the market, with $249 becoming the immediate dividing line between the current four-hour structure and a larger level adjustment, and buyers are trying to regain the $290 to $320 area.
