Another altcoin is on the way to ETF! Founder announcement date: All eyes are on the SEC

After Bitcoin and Ethereum, the U.S. market welcomes more altcoin ETF products

With the success of Bitcoin and Ethereum, various altcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) products, mainly XRP, have entered the U.S. market one after another. As the U.S. altcoin ETF market continues to expand, new altcoin related news has emerged.

According to Eric Chen, co-founder and CEO of Aggressive (INJ), the launch of the U.S. spot INJ ETF may have to wait until 2027. This comment rekindled the market's attention and expectations for subsequent INJ ETF applications.

"2027 may be a little too late!"

In an interview with The Block, Eric Chen did not give a specific date when the U.S. INJ ETF would start trading, but he pointed out that 2027 is indeed a distant goal for a spot INJ ETF, implying that the ETF may be launched earlier.

Chen said: "I can't comment on the exact time frame, but I think 2027 seems a bit too far away. In fact, this is much earlier than I expected, so we will wait and see."

Two ETF filings are in progress

Chen currently has two pending SEC filings. The first is the 21Shares Injective ETF, and the second is the Canary Staked INJ ETF, which has a pledge function.

21Shares filed Form S-1/A with the SEC in September 2026, which mentioned that the fund's main goal is to track INJ's price performance and plans to list on Nasdaq. Canary Capital submitted its initial application for an INJ ETF with pledge function as early as 2025.

Investigative focuses on enterprise-level services

While announcing ETF progress, Investigative is also actively expanding its enterprise-level business in the United States. Chen pointed out that Aggressive Institutional Services became a transfer agent registered with the SEC in August this year. He emphasized that this is only an initial stage and will work hard to obtain more relevant licenses in the future.

In addition, Chen also mentioned that Injective completed the notification and release process of INJ's MiCA technical documents in July, and INJ is currently included in the provisional registration list of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). He said this was an important step for INJ to start trading in the EU, while also pointing out that the process of obtaining licenses in the region is slow, so Injective chose to work with companies with existing licenses.
