Uniswap's cumulative agreement fees exceed US$6 billion
@Uniswap has reached an important milestone, with its cumulative agreement fees exceeding US$6 billion. According to online data, this decentralized exchange has incurred a total of US$6.07 billion in fees since its launch, further consolidating its position as the leading force in the field of decentralized transactions.
Multi-chain expansion has driven a surge in expenses
This milestone has been achieved in large part due to the recent significant increase in activity. In the past 30 days alone,$UNI token-related transactions have generated nearly US$147 million in fees, reflecting that the agreement has maintained continued trading momentum over a period of time.
This surge is mainly due to the continuous expansion of Uniswap's multi-chain layout. Ethereum remains the largest contributor, with cumulative expenses of $4.518 billion, followed by Base ($615 million) and Arbitrum ($322 million). Recently, Robinhood Chain has become an important driver of transaction volume growth, generating fees accounting for approximately 69% of Uniswap's total fees over the past 30 days.
In terms of key indicators, Uniswap is still the largest spot decentralized exchange (DEX). It cleared approximately US$73 billion in 30-day transaction volume on the Ethereum main network and 39 other chains, and as of the end of 2025, its historical cumulative transaction volume had exceeded US$3 trillion.
Fee switches add new economic layer to $UNI holders
In addition to intuitive expense data, the flow of expenses has also undergone structural changes. On December 28, 2025, the "fee switch" on Ethereum was activated, directing approximately 17% of the conversion fee to agreement revenue, which was then used to repurchase and destroy $UNI tokens. Subsequently, governance votes were held in March and June 2026 to extend the fee mechanism to Layer 2 solutions. In July 2026, Uniswap also enabled protocol fees in v4 pools on seven networks, charging 5 basis points from the standard 30 basis point pool, and directing funds to TokenJar contracts, requiring the destruction of $UNI tokens before receiving them.
Before the fee switch was enabled,$UNI was essentially just a certificate with voting rights and could not directly claim the agreement cash flow. Today, as revenue is targeted for repurchase and destruction, the supply of $UNI is declining at a rate of about 0.4% per year. Based on data from the past year, the annualized expense rate was US$965 million and agreed revenue was US$71.47 million.
For an agreement that has quietly processed trillions of dollars in transaction volume, the $6 billion fee milestone is not the end, but a sign that @Uniswap is deeply embedded in the on-chain financial system.
