UNI prices rose 16%, and Robinhood Chain's decentralized trading volume exceeded US$1.3 billion.
According to the market data platform, UNI's current trading price is approximately US$6.31, up 16.5% in the past 24 hours. This trend is closely related to trading activity on Robinhood Chain-Uniswap, as the network's main automated market maker, collects fees from transaction volume, thereby directly linking token prices to network activity.
Robinhood Chain trading volume continues to climb
UNI has a range of US$5.58 to US$6.37 over a 24-hour period. The token's weekly gain was close to 46%, and monthly gain exceeded 51%, but it still fell by about 35% during the year, down about 86% from the all-time high of $44.92 set in May 2021.
According to relevant transaction pair data, UNI rose by about 12% against Bitcoin and nearly 13% against Ethereum during the same period. Trading activity also increased as prices rose, with its 24-hour trading volume reaching US$1.17 billion, a 95% increase from the previous day.
Robinhood Chain's trading volume has climbed for several consecutive weeks, with a single-day decentralized trading volume setting a record of US$875 million on August 30. As of today, data tracking platforms show that the figure has exceeded US$1.3 billion, an increase of nearly 50% in three days.
According to analyst reports, Robinhood Chain currently generates more on-chain fees than Solana, Base or Ethereum. The report points out that its $1.49 billion decentralized trading volume and 5.52 million daily transactions are the main drivers, while a new trading model-directly pairing meme tokens with tokenized stocks-also plays a driving role.
Thereport mentions that the meme token Artificial Inu with a market value of US$184 million is not traded with stablecoins or network-native assets, but is traded in pairs with tokenized Nvidia shares.
Uniswap's role on the Robinhood Chain is becoming increasingly important
Uniswap's position on the Robinhood Chain is not limited to facilitating transactions. According to previous reports, the platform launched a token issuance platform Pools.trade on the network in early August. Users can create tokens through a four-hour crowdfunding issue or an instant issue, and then liquidity will be locked into the Uniswap v4 pool.
The move attracted traders to withdraw from rival token issuance platform PONS, causing PONS to fall nearly 14% in 24 hours, followed by a decline of nearly 48% in the following week.
Uniswap still lags behind other apps on Robinhood Chain in terms of direct expense revenue. According to analysts, GMGN generates $1.11 million in application fees, Pons revenue of $930,000, and Uniswap generates $307,000.
Meanwhile, the total lock-in value of the Robinhood network, which was only officially launched on July 1, has climbed to US$740 million, a weekly increase of 23%.
