The Solana Foundation pointed out that before the incident, they had reduced the proportion of pledges hosted on Teraswitch from 38% in 2025 to less than 30%, which indicates that concentration risks have long been of concern. However, routing failures from a single provider are still enough to push the network to the brink of eventual stagnation, which is an important warning sign for parties assessing settlement risks based on the Solana protocol, including evaluating lending markets for collateral custody arrangements.
As of press time, SOL prices were US$97.15, down 3.97% in 24 hours. Overall market sentiment is at 51 on the Fear and Greed Index, classified as neutral.
