Zcash (ZEC)'s trading activity on the Solana chain has accelerated significantly. ZenZEC is designed as an encapsulated Zcash token designed to bring ZEC's privacy-focused features to the Solana ecosystem. This extension allows users to use ZEC in Solana's decentralized finance (DeFi) platform without having to directly access the Zcash native network. The process is managed by Zenrock, a decentralized solution that utilizes multi-party computing (MPC) technology for managed operations.
Through Zenrock's MPC network, native ZEC tokens are securely kept, allowing equal amounts of zenZEC tokens to be minted on Solana.
