Investment product capital flow and development infrastructure

Transactional open-end index funds (ETFs) that track DOGE have recorded net inflows for several consecutive weeks, totaling approximately US$3.5 million, driving the scale of related assets from US$12 million to US$16.2 million. During this period, DOGE prices hovered around $0.0946, recovering about 20% from their mid-September low of $0.079.

On September 30, the DogeOS public test network was officially launched, allowing developers to explore application scenarios such as payment systems, trading platforms, and loan agreements on its platform. This series of incremental developments is not driven by a single announcement, but is the result of the combined effect of capital inflows from investment products, test network infrastructure deployment, and chart technical indicators.

For an investment vehicle based on "memecoin", three consecutive weeks of positive capital inflows mark a shift in market behavior, reflecting continued but limited market interest. In addition, Metallicus launched DogecoinVM, establishing a connection between Dogecoin and the Metal blockchain network. The initiative aims to accelerate transaction processing through instant settlement finality and builds a DOGE-compatible ledger framework. It should be noted that DogeOS is not a protocol upgrade to the basic layer of Dogecoin, but an additional framework built on top of the existing network.

Technical indicators highlight key price ranges

At the daily level, Dogecoin completed its first "golden cross" form since August 2025, that is, the 50-day moving average crosses the 200-day moving average. The appearance of this technical signal is often seen as a bullish signal. Looking back at history, previous gold crosses pushed prices towards US$0.30 in September 2025, but the upward trend did not last long and then fell back to around US$0.09 during the flash crash in October.

During this cycle, prices recovered from a bottom of around US$0.06 in mid-August 2026 and regained their footing above the daily 50-cycle and 200-cycle moving averages. As the gold cross was established, DOGE rose 3.88% in 24 hours to hit $0.0962. The current direct resistance level is at US$0.106, which is the key point for the upside to be blocked on September 22.

Analyst Views and Future Outlook

Market analyst Crypto Patel pointed out on social media that DOGE has maintained a five-year rising channel structure since 2021 and successfully broke through the multi-year downtrend line since the 2024 high. He confirmed the validity of this breakthrough in 2026 and identified the US$0.06 to US$0.08 range as an accumulation area for buying support.

Crypto Patel set upward targets at US$0.28, US$0.75 and US$2.00 respectively. But he stressed that if prices close below $0.065 in a two-week cycle, the bullish pattern will be rejected. Currently, market participants are closely watching whether DOGE can effectively break through the preliminary resistance levels of US$0.095 and US$0.098. If we can firmly stand at US$0.106, it may open a path to US$0.12 or even US$0.16.

In terms of momentum indicators, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) remained above the neutral threshold and did not enter the overbought area; the Energy Tide Indicator (OBV) climbed to a level of approximately 154.31 billion at the end of September and was maintained, showing balanced and healthy market momentum.
