风险控制与管理架构
Evernorth holds a portfolio of XRP worth approximately $648 million, which provides substantial capital for its institutional investment projects. The company aims to generate additional returns while maintaining financial controls that meet the requirements of publicly traded digital asset management. Asheesh Birla, founder and CEO of Evernorth, emphasized that the company has decided to manage its cryptocurrency reserves through institutional partnerships. “We are leveraging these reserves to achieve our investment goals,” said Birla. He explained that Evernorth has chosen established institutional counterparties to support the operation of its reserves and investment objectives. Once the necessary financial infrastructure is in place, the company also plans to allocate its capital to the XRP Ledger credit market. Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase, and BitGo were selected due to their institutional infrastructure, financial strength, regulatory compliance, and market experience. Their participation will help Evernorth execute investments and provide access to sophisticated institutional trading and custody services. Evernorth’s investment and risk management team will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of reserves, evaluating counterparties, and ensuring the implementation of institutional strategies. These measures will help meet the financial reporting and investment control requirements associated with Evernorth’s NASDAQ listing.Chief Investment Officer Hugo Jeandesboz will lead this project. He brings extensive experience in digital assets, institutional trading, and the fixed income market. Jeandesboz was appointed by Evernorth on September 28th. Before that, he served as the co-chief investment officer at Coinbase Asset Management. “For any reserve fund, the key isn’t whether a certain asset can be held, but how well it can be managed,” said Jeandesboz. His professional background also includes positions at HSBC and Société Générale, where he gained experience in traditional financial markets. As Evernorth expands its institutional reserve fund activities, Jeandesboz will oversee investment strategies and risk management procedures. In addition to institutional investment activities, Evernorth also plans to deploy its reserve funds into the decentralized lending and credit markets of the XRP Ledger. The company will introduce these strategies once the verifier functions are activated and the infrastructure demonstrates reliable performance. This phased approach will allow Evernorth to leverage established trading partners while preparing for direct participation in blockchain-based financial services. One of its planned expansions involves allocating XRP holdings to on-chain markets within the company’s existing investment oversight framework. Evernorth began trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on October 8th, with the stock symbol XRPN. This marks its integration with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The company also plans to hold a NASDAQ close bell ceremony on October 14th to celebrate its debut on the public market.
At the same time, the cooperation agreement still needs to meet all necessary conditions for approval, as well as any required corporate or regulatory approvals. Evernorth’s strategy combines its investment activities in XRP with its lending business, thereby enabling it to generate profits from its reserves.
