Ripple's Recent Trend: Key Points and Market Trends
XRP has recently established a new balance in the range of US$1.40 to US$1.45 after experiencing strong gains. The price briefly touched $1.70 before falling back. During the current market break period, US$1.25 has become the key threshold in the current cycle of XRP.
Which points are critical in technical analysis?
In the eyes of technical analysts, the US$1.25 support level is closely watched. TradingView indicators and online exchange data show that the region is being monitored by major market participants. This level has been identified as a critical accumulation stage, especially with regulatory updates expected around September 15.
The weekly chart highlights the role of US$1.25 as an important support area, which is consistent with the middle track of the Bollinger Band and the Fibonacci 0.5 retracement level. This technical framework was closely related to XRP's price volatility from $1.00 to $1.70 in August. Therefore, retesting the $1.25 range is technically reasonable and represents a regular pullback cooling process after local highs. Some market participants believe that a correction to $1.25 is a natural part of a post-local high technical correction.
Does large-value wallet movements imply a larger trend?
On-chain data shows that as XRP climbed from US$1.00 to US$1.70, major players executed a large-scale buying wave. Wallets holding 1 million to 10 million XRPs have increased their holdings by a staggering 642 million XRPs during this period.
CryptoQuant's analysis points out that the foundation for a short-term correction is being formed. During recent local highs, XRP reserves on Binance peaked at 2.6245 million units. This surge in reserves suggests that individual investors may take profits around $1.45. At the same time, there are obvious signs of tightening on the supply side. Binance's total XRP reserves have dropped from 3.1 billion to 2.6 billion in the past year. Such trends suggest that large investors are still strategically withdrawing liquidity XRP from the market. Although Binanhang's short-term reserves have increased, CryptoQuant reported that total XRP supply on exchanges has dropped significantly over the past year.
September 15's schedule could trigger market fluctuations?
September 15 is a critical date when the U.S. Senate plans to hold a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act. The legislation aims to clarify the legal status of digital assets and delineate the regulatory boundary between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
The goals of the CLARITY Act include:
- Clarify whether digital assets are securities or commodities.
- Distinguish the regulatory responsibilities of the SEC and CFTC.
- Market dynamics may change with the regulatory trend of large wallets anticipate.
Current market dynamics suggest that large wallets may complete position placement near key hub areas at lower cost before legislative decisions are made.
